This is the Anaheim Bus Project
Our goal is to convince the city of Anaheim to invest money into a preventative care medical bus. From 2011 to 2015 hospitals in Anaheim spent a total of $59,001,900 on emergency care for opioid related issues. Many of the people getting this care are homeless and aren't able to pay for this care, putting that burden on the taxpayers and the city.

Preventative care is much less expensive than emergency care. Operating a bus like this would cut medical costs by more than 50%. Opioid use at the moment is only going up in the US and the more we wait on a better solution, the more this epidemic will negatively affect our community.
